Welcome to SmartMoving Academy! We’re excited to provide you with a centralized learning hub designed to enhance your business's profitability through tailored, interactive courses. Below, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions about our Learning Center.

What is SmartMoving's Learning Center?

It is your go-to learning center designed to help you master the SmartMoving platform and boost your business's profitability. With personalized courses automatically assigned based on your role, you’ll gain access to interactive lessons, downloadable resources, and self-enrollment options for deeper learning. Whether you're brushing up on skills or pursuing course certifications, SmartMoving Academy makes learning flexible, engaging, and results driven. Log in to the SmartMoving app, select Learning Center from the drop-down menu, and start leveling up your team’s expertise today!

How do I access my courses?

After logging in to your SmartMoving account, you’ll click on your initials in the top right and then "Learning Center". This will take you to your personalized dashboard in the Academy.

Click on the Courses tab on the home screen to see:

  • Learning Not Started: Courses assigned but

    not yet started.

  • Learning in Progress: Courses you’ve begun but haven’t finished.

How are courses assigned?

Courses are automatically assigned based on your SmartMoving user permissions (e.g., admins see admin courses, sales see sales courses, etc.).

You can only self-enroll in specific courses that are not tied to a SmartMoving role, such as the "Moving Insurance Mini-Course" or an upcoming Tariff Settings course, when they are available in the Catalog tab.

What types of courses are available?

SmartMoving Academy offers a variety of courses designed to enhance your experience and proficiency with the SmartMoving platform:

  • Basics User Permission-Based Training: These essential courses are automatically assigned based on your SmartMoving user permissions. They cover foundational topics such as admin settings, sales, dispatch, estimates, and more.

  • Advanced User Permission-Based Training: In-depth courses that build on the basic training, providing deeper insights into specific modules. (Coming soon!)

  • Best Practices: Courses designed to optimize business workflows, including topics like ORM, Tariff Settings, Storage, and QuickBooks. (Coming soon!)

How do I start a course?

Click on a course from your dashboard to view its landing page. You’ll see course information, objectives, and content. Click Start Now to begin.

Can I skip lessons within a course?

Yes! The first module of each course is “buffet style,” meaning you can take lessons out of order and skip content you don’t need—unless you want a course certificate.

How do I search for something specific in a course?

Looking for something specific? Click on the magnifying glass in the topic navigation sidebar to search keywords within each lesson.

How do I earn a course certificate?

To earn a certificate, you must:

  • Complete all content within the first module.

  • Pass a three-question assessment.

  • Submit the course survey.

Once these steps are completed, your certificate will be available for download.

How do I download my certificate?

Your certificate will be available for download immediately after completing the course. You’ll see the option to download it right away. Alternatively, you can return at any time to download the certificate after finishing the course.


To download your certificate:

  1. Navigate to the My learning section in your Learning Center dashboard.

  2. Select the course for which you’ve earned a certificate.

  3. Click the Download Certificate button to save it as a PDF.

TIP: You can download your complete training history, including completed courses, certificates, and progress. To access this feature, navigate to
My Learning > Download Training History, then choose whether to download it as a PDF or CSV file.

Where can I view my learning progress?

Visit the My Learning tab to see:

  • Courses in progress.

  • Completed courses and certificates available for download.

Where can I find additional learning resources?

Check the Resources tab for downloadable guides, videos, and webinars. Use the search bar or filters for quick access.

How can I provide feedback and suggestions?

We’re constantly looking to improve! After completing a course, you’ll have the opportunity to rate the content and leave feedback. Alternatively, you can email suggestions to [email protected].

What if I need more help?

Click the Help button at the bottom right of the screen to access the Help Center or contact Support.
