SmartMoving accepts leads from Angi via their webhook integration.
NOTE: Webhook integration is not available to all Angi professionals. To find out more, contact your Angi representative, or send an Email to Dave Howard ([email protected]) for more information.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have enabled Angi in your SmartMoving Lead Provider settings. If you aren't sure how to enable a provider, please review this article.
Once you've enabled the provider, make note of the URL and the "X-API-KEY" field. You will need both of these values to complete your setup.
Enabling the Angi Integration
To enable the integration, first log into your Angi Business Center portal: https://office.angieslist.com.
Once you have logged in, follow this link: https://office.angieslist.com/app/webhooks/24647967/leads/configure
This will take you to the Lead Integration Setup wizard.
On the first screen, press the "Get Started" button:
The next page has 4 fields for you to complete.
Email Address: enter an Email address to receive error notifications. If there is ever a problem sending a lead to SmartMoving, the Email address you specify here will be notified.
Webhook URL: enter your Angi Lead Provider URL, which you noted above.
Authentication Type: Select "Send API Key in Header." This will cause an additional field to appear. In the new box, paste in your "X-API-KEY" from your SmartMoving settings.
Data Format: Select "JSON".
Once you have finished, press the "Next" button. The page that follows will allow you to send a test lead to your system. Press the "Send Test Lead" button, then wait a moment while the test executed.
When the test finishes, you should see a message indicating that the lead was sent successfully, and you should also see the lead in your SmartMoving account. If not, please verify that you have entered all your information correctly, then try again.
After a successful test, press the "Next" button. You should now be at the "Save and Activate" page. Press the button at the bottom of the page to activate the integration.
All new leads you receive from Angi will now appear automatically in SmartMoving.
