Cards View in the Tasks Module (Beta)

The Cards View is set up like a Kanban board. It provides a visual way to manage and organize your company’s follow-up tasks. It uses a drag-and-drop layout so you can easily move tasks between different stages of completion.

Accessing the Cards View

To open the Cards View:

  1. Go to Tasks Module > Cards View.

  2. The board will display all follow-up tasks company-wide.


KPI Cards

At the top of the board, you’ll see KPI cards that match the rest of the SmartMoving app layout. These cards summarize key task metrics such as:

  • My Overdue Tasks

  • My Tasks Due Today

  • My Tasks Due This Week

  • My Open Tasks


Using the Cards View (w/ video)

The Cards View organizes tasks into three columns:

  • Not Started

  • In Progress

  • Completed

You can:

  • Drag and drop tasks between columns as they progress.

  • Sort tasks using the dropdown menu to view them by Priority, Due Date, or other available options.

  • Open where the task is or what is associated to by clicking the link icon, this opens the task in a new window, either:

    • The Sales and Estimates page, or

    • The Claims module.


Permissions

Only users with permission to view the Tasks module can access the Cards View. To review or update permissions:

  1. Go to Settings > Company Settings > Roles & Permissions.

  2. Locate the role you want to edit.

  3. Checkmark the Tasks module permission.
