Any item that you need to be able to add as an expense that cannot be added as an automatically calculated charge, can be added in the Manual Expense Categories. These expenses can be manually added to the expenses on an opportunity from the profitability tab when necessary.
How to Add an Expense Category
Step 1: Click on the blue button labeled Add Expense Category.
Step 2: From the pop-up window enter the Category Name.
Step 3: Click Add.
How to Reorder Your Expense Categories
The order that the manual expenses are listed on this screen is the order that the expenses will populate in the profitability tab when you are adding a manual expense.
Step 1: Click on the handlebar icon next to the category that you want to reorder.
Step 2: Drag the category to the new location where you want it to be located.
Step 3: Drop the category in the new location.
How to Rename an Expense Category
Step 1: On the category that you want to rename, select the three-dot menu icon.
Step 2: From the dropdown menu select Rename.
Step 3: Enter the new name for the category.
Step 4: Click Rename.
How to Delete an Expense Category
Step 1: On the category that you want to delete, select the three-dot menu icon.
Step 2: From the dropdown menu select Delete.
Step 3: Confirm that you wish to delete the category by selecting Delete.
โNote: If you no longer wish to delete this category select, Cancel.
