The SmartMoving integration with QuickBooks Online, now allows you to connect multiple QuickBooks Online Accounts to multiple branches under a single SmartMoving account.

Assign Branch to QuickBooks Account

Step 1: From the QuickBooks integration, select Assign Branch to QuickBooks Account.

Step 2: Check mark the box, next to the branch or branches that you want to assign that QuickBooks account to.

Link New Account

If you are going to link a branch to a QuickBooks account that has not previously been linked to SmartMoving follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Select Link New Account.

Step 2: From the pop-up window, sign into your other QuickBooks Online account.

Step 3: Assign the newly linked QuickBooks Online account to the desired branch or branches.

Manage Your QuickBooks Online Accounts

Once a QuickBooks online account has been assigned to a branch, you are now able to manage your account, by selecting Manage. Here you can make any adjustments necessary to your job mappings or other items.

Disable a QuickBooks Account

To disable one of your QuickBooks accounts, locate the toggle switch next to the account you wish to disable. Turn the toggle switch to off to disable that QuickBooks account. From the dialog box select Yes, Proceed if you are sure you want to disable the QuickBooks account.

Note: The toggle switch will appear gray once the account has been disabled.

Edit or Delete a QuickBooks Account

Next to each QuickBooks Online account that you have linked to SmartMoving, you will find a three-dot menu icon. From this menu, you can edit or delete the QuickBooks Online account.

Note: If you have multiple QuickBooks accounts and no longer want to utilize one, we recommend simply disabling that account instead of deleting it.

Edit the QuickBooks Account

If you select to edit the QuickBooks account, you are able to edit various information from the slide out screen. This includes changing the QuickBooks account's nickname that appears in SmartMoving and adjusting the branches that this account is linked to. To adjust your branch assignment, follow these steps:

Step 1: Select Assign Branches.

Step 2: Checkmark the box next to the other branch you also want to assign this account to.

Step 3: Click Save.

From the edit QuickBooks Account slide-slide out screen you can also select to move a branch to a different QuickBooks Online account if you have another account linked or to remove a branch from the linked account entirely.

Delete a QuickBooks Account

We do not recommend deleting additional QuickBooks accounts, we recommend that you disable a QuickBooks account following the instructions included above if you no longer wish to utilize that account.

Step 1: From your list of QuickBooks accounts, locate the account you wish to delete.

Step 2: From the three-dot menu icon, select Delete.

Step 3: Confirm that you want to delete the QuickBooks account by selecting Yes, Proceed.
