When finalizing a job from the accounting section, you can enter the labor time worked by the crew members or the start and end times of the job. Other values can also be entered from the finalize wizard if desired. Another option is to finalize the job without entering actual values. In this case, SmartMoving will use the values from the estimate.

Labor Time

If you do not wish to enter actual labor time values, SmartMoving will use the labor time from your estimate as the actual values. This will include the time it takes the crew to travel from the origin to the destination and any handicaps that were included in the estimate.

For example, in the job below, my estimate includes 5 minutes of labor to travel from the origin to the destination and a total of 55 minutes of labor related to handicaps. These values in addition to the labor time equal 3 hours of total billable time.

Once the job has been completed and is being finalized, from the accounting section I can choose to let SmartMoving apply these estimated values as the actual values without making any manual adjustments to the billable time.
