Overview
LiveSwitch AI Inventory uses Sparky AI to turn the photos and videos your customers capture into a complete moving inventory inside SmartMoving. Sparky AI identifies items room by room, then sends the inventory directly into the customer's opportunity through SmartMoving's Premium API, so your team can build accurate estimates without manual data entry.
Before You Start
Ensure you have the Premium API. If you do not, upgrade through your account representative. For a tier comparison and pricing, see SmartMoving's Open API.
Enable the LiveSwitch integration in SmartMoving. For setup steps, see LiveSwitch Surveys.
Turn on LiveSwitch access for the user under Settings > Company Settings > User Management.
Confirm the customer has a valid phone number and email address on the opportunity so they can receive the LiveSwitch invite or recording link.
How To Use LiveSwitch AI Inventory
Open the customer's opportunity and go to the Estimate tab.
Capture the inventory using either method:
Schedule or start a LiveSwitch virtual survey with the customer, or
Send the customer a LiveSwitch Inventory Video Request so they can record their home on their own time.
Wait for the customer to submit their recording. Sparky AI scans the photos and video and identifies items room by room.
Open the Inventory section of the opportunity. The AI-generated inventory appears once Sparky AI finishes processing.
Review the items, then edit quantities, names, or volumes as needed.
Add any items Sparky AI missed and remove any that do not apply.
Continue building the estimate as you normally would.

Best Practices
Coach customers to record in well-lit rooms and to move the camera slowly so Sparky AI can identify items clearly.
Ask customers to open closets, cabinets, and storage areas they want included in the move.
Use a LiveSwitch Inventory Video Request for customers who cannot make a scheduled call, and a live LiveSwitch survey when you want to ask questions in real time.
Treat the AI-generated inventory as a fast first draft. Review and adjust before quoting.
Keep customer phone and email up to date on the opportunity so invites and recording links go through the first time.
