Occasionally customers will want multiple estimates sent to them with varying services. For example, you might want to send a customer an estimate for moving services only and one that also includes packing. To do this, you'd need to send two different estimates.

Duplicate an Existing Opportunity

Navigate to an opportunity that you would like to duplicate.

First, click the drop-down menu next to the smart action button, and click Duplicate Opportunity.

Duplicating an opportunity will create an entirely separate copy of your opportunity, complete with its own job number. You can now modify this duplicated quote and add or remove services so the customer can compare both quotes during their decision process.

Add or remove services as you would normally using the charges section:

Once you've finished your edits, send both the original and duplicated estimates to the customer for comparison and approval.

Cleaning Up the Opportunity That Was Not Selected

Once the customer selects the estimate they wish to book, you can delete the unaccepted duplicate estimate. Deleting the opportunity that was not accepted will ensure that your reporting and financial metrics are not affected by the duplicated opportunity. Be sure not to delete the wrong opportunity as this process is irreversible.
