What is Smart Marketing?
Smart Marketing is SmartMoving’s email marketing tool that helps you create, automate, and analyze personalized email campaigns. Integrated with your CRM data, it allows you to target the right leads or customers with the right message at the right time, without needing any third-party tools.
Key Features

What is a Campaign?
A campaign is an email or sequence sent to a group of contacts. You can send:
One-Time Broadcasts: A single email sent to a targeted audience at a specific date and time. Common uses include seasonal promotions, announcements, or customer-appreciation messages.
How it works:
Choose or create a segment (your targeted list).
Design or select a template.
Schedule the exact send date and time (or send now).
The campaign sends once to that audience; it doesn’t continue sending afterward.
Great for
Seasonal or holiday promotions (e.g., “Spring Storage Specials”).
One-off announcements (new service launch, price changes).
Customer appreciation notes (thank-you messages, milestone celebrations).
Event reminders or deadlines (book-by dates, limited-time offers).
Automated Communication: Messages sent automatically on a continuous schedule. In Smart Marketing, automated campaigns check your segment every day and send emails to any contacts who meet the conditions, without you needing to resend manually.
How it works:
Every day, Smart Marketing checks your segment conditions (for example: “All customers with a move date in the next 7 days”).
If new contacts now match those conditions, the campaign will automatically send them the email.
This ensures that every eligible customer receives timely and consistent communication, even if they enter your system after the campaign was created.
Benefits: Saves time, ensures no customer is missed, and keeps outreach consistent.
Considerations: Since messages go out daily to new matches, make sure your segment conditions are well defined to avoid sending irrelevant emails.
