What Are Common Items?
A pre-seeded list of the 20 most common inventory items based on your company’s historical data.
New accounts automatically get a starter list based on SmartMoving’s overall customer data.
Crews can quickly select from this list instead of browsing room by room.
Customizing the Common Items List
From the Web App, admins can:
Go to Settings > Estimate Lists > Inventory.
Use the ⭐ (star) icon to mark items as Common Items.
These starred items will appear in the “Common Items” tab in the mobile app.
❗️Note: Duplicates (for example, multiple versions of “Side Table”) are filtered out to simplify the crew’s view. Only one version will display, with a short description if needed.
