SmartMoving allows companies to block off an entire day so that your sales team cannot overbook.
To block off a day, you will want to go to your Job Calendar and select the day that you wish to block off. Toggle the button to "block" or "unblock" that day.
How Will We Know the Day Has Been Blocked Off?
From the Job Calendar, once the day has been blocked the day will have a warning icon alerting your that the day has been fully booked.
When a new opportunity is being created, the opportunity wizard will post an alert notifying the user that the day has been fully booked. If that user does not have the permissions to book an opportunity on a day that is blocked off, they will be unable to create the opportunity until a new move date has been selected.
Enable the Permission to Book on a Blocked-off Day
If you wish to allow certain users to override booking on blocked-off days, you can manage this in your roles and permissions settings.
