In SmartMoving we directly integrate with over thirty lead providers. If you want to automatically send leads to SmartMoving and the lead provider that you are requesting leads from is not on our current list, you can use the Customer Lead Provider option.

Send Leads to SmartMoving Using a Custom Lead Provider

Step 1: Navigate to your lead provider setting.

Step 2: Find the option for Custom Lead Provider.

Step 3: Turn the toggle switch on.

Note: The toggle will be green once the lead provider has been enabled.

Once the lead provider has been enabled, a dialog box will be presented with instructions for how to connect the Custom Lead Provider. You can also view the instructions by selecting View Instructions next to the lead provider.

Step 4: From the dialog box, click on the clipboard icon. This will copy the API key that you will use to integrate with the lead provider.

Step 5: Use the API key that you retrieved in SmartMoving to integrate with your Custom Lead Provider.

Referral Source

In order to know which, lead provider this lead came from you will want to have your website developer to hardcode the referral source with the name of your lead provider. Otherwise, when leads from this provider pass into SmartMoving, the referral source will be marked as "Custom Lead Provider". When the first lead from this provider passes into SmartMoving, SmartMoving will add this new provider to your Referral Source list. This will also allow you to filter your reports or opportunities by this custom lead provider as they will now be listed as a referral source for your company.

The Custom Lead Provider option can be used to integrate with multiple lead providers. However, please keep in mind that each lead will show "Custom Lead Provider" as the Referral Source if your website developer does not change which Referral Source is hardcoded to pass into SmartMoving.
