How do I get leads from a provider to flow into my account?

Lead providers can send new leads directly into your SmartMoving account.

Enabling Lead Providers
You can enable a lead provider in your SmartMoving settings.  The list of supported providers can be found in Settings under Sales -> Lead Providers:

You can toggle each lead provider on or off by clicking or tapping the toggle control:

When you enable a provider, a modal will appear.

This modal is also accessible by clicking the "View Instructions" link for any enabled lead provider.

If you have multiple branches, you can optionally choose to generate an API URL for a specific branch. Otherwise, your leads will go to the primary branch for your account.

You can press the "Send Instructions" button to send integration instructions to a 3rd party. For example, you can enter the Email address of your account rep at the lead provider, and we'll send them instructions on how to connect your leads to SmartMoving:

NOTE: We strongly recommend you instruct your lead provider to continue to send you notifications via Email for any new leads in addition to forwarding them to SmartMoving.  This will provide some redundancy in the event that SmartMoving were to experience an outage: you would continue to receive new lead notifications from the provider via Email while SmartMoving is down.

Lead Pricing
Some lead providers send a "unit cost" for each lead that they submit.  This information is used to calculate various metrics, including ROI.  Lead providers that send a unit cost have a checkmark in the "Can Send Pricing" column:

You can also specify a cost per lead for each provider by clicking the "click to set" link for that provider.  Do note that setting a unit cost will not override the value sent by the provider.  For example, if you were to set a unit cost of $8.50 for Equate Media, but Equate Media sends a unit cost of $7.50 for a lead, SmartMoving will use $7.50 (the price sent by the provider) as the unit cost for that lead.

Lead Forwarding
You can configure a "forward to" address for each lead provider.  When enabled, SmartMoving will send a copy of leads received from that provider to the Email address of your choosing.  Click the "click to set" link for that provider, enter the desired Email address, then press the enter key to save the forwarding configuration.

Do note that this forwarding will not work in the event of a SmartMoving outage.  We recommend that you instruct your lead providers to continue to send a copy of leads to you directly via Email in addition to send them to SmartMoving.

Requesting New Provider
If the lead provider you wish to enable isn't listed, it may not yet support sending leads to SmartMoving.  For more information on requesting new lead providers, please check out this FAQ: My lead provider isn't listed.  How do I request a new provider be added?
