Need help connecting your website? We partner with Rotate Digital and they provide free/discounted services to our clients. See their options here: SmartMoving Form Scope Of Work.pdf. Let us know if you are interested in connecting with them and we will make the introduction.

There are multiple options to get leads from your website into the SmartMoving CRM. Which option is best for you depends upon a variety of factors, including your website host (GoDaddy only supports option 1, for example).

Note: If you are wanting to track UTM fields, you will want to use one of our more advanced integration methods. UTM fields are not supported with the Embedded form or the SmartMoving WordPress Plugin.

Option 1 - SmartMoving Embedded Lead Form (iFrame):

You can install the SmartMoving embedded short or long lead form directly on your website using an iframe.  Below is a video that shows how this form can be integrated.  Feel free to pass this video along to your web developer if Option 1 is your preferred method.

You can find the snippet for your iframe in your SmartMoving settings.  Note that if you are using GoDaddy, this is the only option that is supported due to limitations with their website builder.

Option 2 - Using a WordPress Plugin:

In cases where your website is built on WordPress (this is the most popular website management tool in use today), there are plugins you can use to push the data in without any coding.

SmartMoving WordPress Plugin
The easiest way to add a lead form to your WordPress site is with the official SmartMoving WordPress plugin.

Gravity Forms
The most popular plugin is called 'Gravity Forms.'  Below is a sample configuration of the Gravity Forms plugin.  The 'Request URL' in the example can be found by going to the settings tab of your application under Sales -> Lead Providers.  Toggle on the 'Website' option and copy the URL that's associated with that entry.  You can refer to the custom integration document in section 4 below for field name mappings.

Contact Form 7
Contact Form 7 is another popular WordPress form plugin.  While this plugin does not directly support integration with SmartMoving, you can install a couple of additional add-ons to enable this feature.

Ninja Forms

You can use Ninja Forms and its webhook add-on in order to send leads to SmartMoving.

Option 3 - Using JavaScript

For sites that are not using WordPress, or that have highly-customized forms, you may be able to use our pre-built JavaScript library to submit your form.  This method will require you to write some configuration and mapping code, and should only be attempted if you or your website maintainer are comfortable with JavaScript.

Option 4 - Custom Integration:

This is our 'Advanced Integration' method.  This will let you submit leads directly from your website form, landing page or other external source directly into the SmartMoving API.  The document below contains details on how to do this and it does require custom programming in most cases.  You'll most likely want to pass that along to your web developer or IT person.
