How to manually sync individual storage transactions

SmartMoving syncs transactions to QuickBooks automatically, but there may be times when you want to manually sync or resync an individual invoice, payment, credit, or refund.

Manually syncing transactions

Navigate to Storage > Accounts (or click here to go directly to the page), and select an account.

First, click the invoice, payment, credit, or refund you want to sync with QuickBooks.

Then, in the QuickBooks Sync section, if the transaction has never been synced, click Sync:

If the transaction has already been synced, click Resync. You can also see when the transaction was last synced or click the View in QuickBooks link to see the transaction in QuickBooks.

Note: If you delete any type of transaction from SmartMoving, it will also be removed from QuickBooks. Credit card transactions cannot be deleted, but they can be refunded. Refunds will automatically sync with QuickBooks.
