How to Make Sure You're Using the Latest Version of the Crew App

How to Check Your Current Version

You can check which version of the Crew App you're using right from the login screen:

  1. Open the Crew App.

  2. Look at the bottom of the login screen — you'll see the version number listed there (e.g., v5.4.11).

💡 Why this matters: You’ll need to be on version 5.4.11 or higher due to important PCI security updates required by credit card companies.

How to Update the Crew App

To make sure you're fully up to date, you’ll need to complete both steps below:

Step 1: Update from the App Store

  • iPhone users: Go to the App Store and search for SmartMoving.

  • Android users: Go to the Google Play Store and search for SmartMoving.

This step ensures you have the latest major version of the app installed.

Step 2: Force the Latest Over-the-Air (OTA) Update

After updating through the app store, follow these steps to apply the latest patches:

  1. Open the Crew App.

  2. On the login screen, tap the SmartMoving logo at the top 10 times.

  3. If an OTA update is available, you’ll be prompted to install it.

OTA updates include smaller patches and fixes that are not delivered through the app store.

To stay current and secure and ensure your payments continue to be processed, you must have the latest version of the app installed.
