Following up on customer feedback is one of the biggest challenges in review management. SmartMoving’s Online Reputation Management (ORM) tool simplifies this process by allowing you to automate review reminders and notifications, so customers are prompted at the right time and your team stays informed without manual follow-up.


What Are Review Reminders?

Review Reminders are automated messages sent to customers to encourage them to complete a review after their move. These reminders help ensure customers don’t forget to share their feedback, even if they skip the initial survey.

Reminders run automatically once enabled, reducing the need for manual outreach.


How Review Reminders Work

Once a move is completed:

  • A review survey can be sent automatically to the customer

  • If the survey is not completed, SmartMoving can send up to three additional reminders

  • Each reminder uses its own customizable template

The first reminder can be sent immediately (approximately 30 seconds after the job is finalized), with additional reminders scheduled afterward.


Types of Review Notifications

SmartMoving provides multiple notification and reminder options to support both customer engagement and internal visibility.

Move Review Survey

Automatically sends a review survey to the customer when a job is completed, giving them an immediate opportunity to provide feedback.


Review Notification

Notifies your team when a new review has been submitted so you can respond quickly and stay on top of customer sentiment.


Survey Reminder Notifications

Up to three customizable reminder emails can be sent to customers who have not completed their review. These reminders gently encourage feedback without overwhelming the customer.


Setting Up Review Reminders

To configure review reminders:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Marketing

  3. Click Review Reminders

From this page, you can:

  • Enable or disable reminder types

  • Customize templates for each reminder

  • Control timing and frequency

Templates can be adjusted to match your brand voice and communication style.


Customizing Review Notifications

Notifications help your internal team stay informed when reviews are received.

To set up notifications:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Marketing

  3. Click Notifications

You can:

  • Define which reviews trigger a notification

  • Set criteria such as platform or star rating

  • Send notifications to multiple email addresses

This ensures the right team members are alerted when action is needed.
