Overview
Access to the Storage Module and the Storage Settings is now managed separately. This helps you control who can view or change configuration settings, especially in environments where different team members have different responsibilities.
How It Works
Go to Settings > Company Settings > Roles & Permissions or click here.
In the Modules section, you'll find a permission labeled Storage Settings.
Enable this permission for the role(s) that should be able to access the storage-related settings under the Settings module.
Granting access to Storage Settings allows a user to configure settings related specifically to storage, without giving them visibility into unrelated settings areas such as billing, user management, or other admin-level tools.
Common Use Case
You may want to:
Give a Warehouse Manager access to only the operational parts of the storage system.
In this case, they'll have access to the settings module, but they will only be able to see the storage settings section.
Give an Admin access to both the operational tools and the configuration settings.
By enabling Storage Settings permission independently, you can match each user’s access level to their role.
