How to add one or more contacts to your opportunities

There may be times when one or more additional contacts need to be added to a job so that additional people, other than the customer moving can be notified of events like sending an estimate, booking a job as well as job confirmation communications.

You can add as many additional contacts to a job as desired.

Note: Contacts added to a job are not additional customers. They are only additional contacts for that specific job.

Adding additional contacts

  1. Open an opportunity and click the Estimate tab.

2. Click on the "Manage Contacts" icon.

3. Enter the contact’s name on the slide out.

(Optional) Enter an email address and/or phone number for the new contact if they wish to receive email and/or text message updates on the move. You may add as many phone numbers for the new contact as needed.

4. Click Add Contact.

Once the new contact is added, you will see a multi-person icon has populated and the number of additional contacts that have been added to the opportunity. You can click on the manage contacts icon to view/edit/delete the additional contacts.

If you add more than one contact, the number will update based on the number of additional contacts added. Clicking the multi-person icon will show all additional contacts added to the account.

Note: To Delete an additional contact click on the trash can icon listed next to the additional contacts information.

Send Information to an Additional Contact

After adding additional contacts, actions such as sending a quote, sending a booking confirmation as well as job confirmations will allow you to select not only the primary customer's contact information but any additional contacts phone/email as well.
