You can add tags to a job to call out information on specific tools, trucks, or skills that a move may require to help with scheduling or data collection.

Tags are beneficial when you are setting your moving schedule, as you can visibly see the tags on the schedule. In the example below, we can see that an unscheduled job has a piano involved and the customer has been identified as "VIP". This information will be helpful when determining which truck(s) or crew members we want to assign to this job.

You can also filter by “Attributes” to see all moves with specific tags.

In the future, SmartMoving will allow you to run reports based on tags. For instance, if you have a “piano” tag, you will be able to run a report to show all jobs for the year that used the “piano” tag. This feature is currently under development and will be coming soon.

Creating new tags

Navigate to settings -> Estimate Lists -> Tags or click here to go directly to the page.

First, click Add Tag.

Next, enter a name and, if desired, a description for the tag.

Then, click Create or click Create and Add another to add additional tags.

Editing tags

First, click the menu icon next to the tag you wish to modify, and then click Edit.

Then, edit the name and/or description as desired, and click Update.

Adding tags to a job

Navigate to the estimate page of a job.

First, in the Quote Info section, click the Tags plus icon.

Then, select the desired tags from the list of available tags. You can add as many tags as needed for each job.

Note: If the tag you wish to use is not provided, you’ll need to use the steps above for Creating new tags to add it to your tag list.
