Quote Hourly Packing

Before you start an hourly packing quote, it is recommended that you first complete an inventory for the move. This will help you create a faster, more accurate quote. However, you can still complete this process without completing an inventory.

  1. Open an opportunity and click the Estimate tab.

  2. In the Charges section, click Add Charge.

  3. Click Packing, then select Hourly.

  4. Click Manage Job Materials to add boxes and other packing materials.

  5. In the Packing/Unpacking column, enter the quantity of each material that you will box/unbox for the customer.

    1. If you've completed an inventory for the move, click the Sync dropdown and select Sync inventory > Yes, proceed. This will automatically sync the packing materials with the number listed in the move inventory.

  6. In the Materials column, enter the quantity of each material you're providing to the customer.

    1. If you've completed an inventory for the move, click the Sync dropdown and select Sync packing > Yes, proceed. This will automatically sync the packing materials needed with the number listed in the Packing column so the materials are charged separately from the labor.

  7. Click Save Changes and Update Charges, then click the x in the right corner of the popup.

  8. Enter the number of trucks, packers, hourly rate, and minimum time required for the packing job. The estimated time will update automatically based on the data entered in the job materials.

  9. Add any applicable discounts.

  10. Click Add New.

  11. You'll see the hourly packing and materials listed as separate charges.
