If personal information is going to be discussed, that information should not be recorded and stored in RingCentral and so you will want to pause the recording while discussing private information, such as credit card information.
How to Enable Record Pausing in RingCentral
Step 1: Have the admin for your company to log into your RingCentral
Step 2: Navigate to Phone Settings -> Auto Receptionist -> General Settings -> Call Recording.
Step 3: Checkmark the box next to the option labeled, "Allow mute in auto call recording".
Step 4: Click Save.
Once this setting has been enabled in your RingCentral settings you will be able to select Stop when recording a phone call. This will allow you to collect any private information that is necessary, without having that information recorded.
To resume recording again, click Record.
