When scheduling a survey in SmartMoving, you will continue to create the events on the estimate editor screen. The Pre-Move Survey Application will allow your surveyor who is assigned to the survey to complete the survey easily from their tablet. The application is offline capable, so there is no need to use the device's data or be on Wi-Fi to complete the survey. Once assigned to a scheduled survey event, the surveyor can log into their applications and complete the survey.
Schedule a Survey
Step 1: Navigate to the estimate tab on the opportunity.
Step 2: From the survey panel, select + Schedule.
Step 3: Select the surveyor that you will assign the event to and click to drop the event under their name at the time the survey will be completed.
Step 4: Select Add Event.
Complete the Survey
Your estimator can now navigate to the Pre-Move Survey Application on their tablet and complete the survey on the day that the event is scheduled. If the survey has not populated on the application, select Refresh List while connected to Wi-Fi or use the device's data to pull in the latest data from SmartMoving to the application.
Note: Your estimator can view surveys for up to five days in the future.
