How to Customize Your Materials List on the Pre-Move Survey Application

When completing an inventory survey, efficiency is key. By customizing the order in which your Carrier Pack and Pack by Owner materials populate on the application, you can ensure that your surveyors are adding materials more efficiently. To learn how to customize your materials list, follow the steps included below.

How to Customize Your Materials List

Step 1: Navigate to your Tariff Library and select the tariff that you would like to customize the materials list for.

Step 2: Navigate to the Materials settings section.

Step 3: Using the handlebar icons, drag and drop your materials to place them in the order you want them to populate on the Pre-Move Survey Application.

Note: This will also update the order of the materials populated on the estimate editor page for an opportunity.

View Your Customized Materials List from the Pre-Move Survey Application

Once your materials list order has been updated from the SmartMoving web application, your surveyors will see the updated order from their Pre-Move Survey Applications.

Step 1: From the Pre-Move Survey Application, select an upcoming survey.

Step 2: Select Start Inventory

Step 3: Select a room to begin adding inventory items to.

Step 4: From the category drop-down menu, select Carrier Pack or Pack by Owner.

Step 5: Note that the materials are now in the order that you designated them to be in from the SmartMoving web application.
