You can have one or more warehouses, and each warehouse has several settings that should be customized.

Adding a warehouse

Navigate to Settings -> Storage -> Warehouse, or click here to go directly to the page.

First, click Add Warehouse.

Then, complete the Name and Billing Contact Name fields as well as any of the following optional fields:

  • Phone Number, Fax Number, and/ or Email: Enter the warehouse's contact information

  • Branch: Select which branch the warehouse is associated with. The branch selection will determine among other things which payment gateway (bank account) your recurring storage payments will be deposited to.

  • Default Storage Rate: Select the default rate. If you have not set up your default storage rates, learn how to do so here.

  • Address: Add the storage facility address.

  • Invoice Grace Period: Select the number of days customers have to pay an invoice after it is generated before it is considered past due. After an account exceeds the grace period, the invoice is automatically marked as past due and charged a late fee (if late fees are turned on). Note: If "Immediately" is selected as the grace period, as soon as the customer receives the invoice, it will be marked as past due.

  • Late Fees: If you charge a late fee, you can charge by Percent or Flat. The late fee will be charged after an account exceeds the selected invoice grace period.

Then, click Create.

Editing a warehouse

If you've imported accounts, you will already have at least one warehouse.

First, click the menu icon next to the warehouse you wish to modify, and select Edit.

Then, edit any of the desired fields and click Update.
