Overview
The User Application Licenses page allows company administrators to manage access to SmartMoving mobile applications from a single location. From this page, you can:
Allocate application licenses to crew and office users
Control access to the Crew App and Pre-Move Survey App
Monitor license usage and availability
Request additional licenses when limits are reached
This page centralizes license management while remaining fully synchronized with existing user settings.
Before You Start
Before managing licenses, confirm the following:
You have access to the Settings module
Your company has available application licenses
Users are already created as Crew Users, Office Users, or both
How To Access It
Access the User Application Licenses Page
Go to Settings
Select Company Settings
Click User Application Licenses
At the top of the page, you’ll see a usage bar showing how many licenses are allocated and how many remain available.
You’ll also see a License Type filter. By default, this filter is set to All License Types, allowing you to view all users regardless of license assignment.
Filter Users by License Type
To make it easier to manage and audit application access, you can filter users by license type.
At the top of the User Application Licenses page, use the License Type filter. By default, the filter is set to All License Types, which displays every user in your company.
When selected, you can filter the list by any of the following options:
All License Types
Displays all users, regardless of license assignment.Crew App
Displays only users assigned a Crew App license.Pre-Move App
Displays only users assigned a Pre-Move Survey App license.No License
Displays users who do not currently have a mobile application license assigned.
This filter helps administrators quickly identify users by access level, locate unlicensed users, and confirm license distribution across teams.
Understand License Options by User Type
License options vary depending on whether the user is a crew user or an office user.
Office Users
Office users can be assigned one of the following:
Pre-Move Survey App license
Allows access to the Pre-Move Survey App.No license
The user does not have access to a mobile application.
Office users typically do not require access to the Crew App.
Crew Users
Crew users can be assigned one of the following:
Crew App license
Grants access to the Crew App, including descriptive inventory features.No license
The user does not have access to the Crew App.
Assign or Update a License
Find a user in the list by:
Click the license dropdown next to the user
Select the appropriate license option
Click Save Changes.
The App Licenses usage bar will update automatically.
Request Additional Licenses
If your company is out of available licenses:

Application License Sync Across SmartMoving
Application license changes stay synchronized across SmartMoving.
When you assign or remove licenses from the User Application Licenses page:
Crew App access updates automatically on the Dispatch → Crew Members page
App access for office users updates automatically on the User Management page
Changes made from those pages stay in sync as well. If a license is assigned or removed from Dispatch → Crew Members or User Management, the update is reflected on the User Application Licenses page.
📌 You can manage application access from whichever page is most convenient, license assignments are always kept up to date.

Troubleshooting
I can’t assign a license
Confirm available licenses remain
Check that the user role supports the license type
A user doesn’t see expected app features
Verify the correct license is assigned
Confirm the user is logging into the correct application
