Overview
When an account has many projects, or a project has many jobs, scanning the full table can slow you down. Status filters on the Projects and Jobs tables let you narrow each list to just the statuses you care about, so you can focus on the work in flight, work that's completed, or work that's stuck.
The filter lives directly on each table and supports multi-select. Your selections are remembered in your browser, so the filter stays applied the next time you open the page.
Before You Start
Available to companies with Smart Pro.
You must have Accounts permission.
Your account and project statuses must be configured in Settings > Commercial. See "How to Configure Commercial Settings" for details.
Job statuses are managed by SmartMoving and do not require setup.
Filtering the Projects Table by Status
The Projects table appears on the Overview tab of any account's detail page.
Click Accounts in the left sidebar and open an account.
On the Overview tab, locate the Projects card and make sure it is expanded.
In the upper right of the card, click the status filter dropdown (it shows the current filter label, for example All Statuses).
In the popover, check one or more project statuses you want to see (for example, Planning and In Progress).
Click outside the popover to close it.
The table updates to show only projects whose status matches your selection. If no projects match, the table displays No matching projects found.
đĄ SmartTip: The filter label updates to reflect your selection. When one status is selected, it shows the status name. When multiple statuses are selected, it shows a count (for example, 2 Statuses).
Filtering the Jobs Table by Status
The Jobs table appears on the Overview tab of any project's detail page.
From an account, click a project name in the Projects table to open the project.
On the Overview tab, locate the Jobs card and make sure it is expanded.
Click the status filter dropdown in the upper right of the card.
Check one or more job statuses you want to see.
Click outside the popover to close it.
The table updates to show only jobs whose status matches your selection. If no jobs match, the table displays No matching jobs found.
Note: The Jobs table filter only lists statuses that apply to commercial jobs. Lead-stage statuses used elsewhere in SmartMoving are not shown here.
Clearing or Changing the Filter
To change your filter, reopen the status dropdown and update your selections:
Add a status: Check the box next to the status name.
Remove a status: Uncheck the box next to the status name.
Clear the filter: Uncheck every status. The table returns to showing all rows and the dropdown label resets to All Statuses.
đĄ SmartTip: Your filter selections are saved per browser. If you close the tab or come back the next day, the Projects and Jobs tables will still have the same statuses checked. Each table (Projects and Jobs) keeps its own filter, so changing one does not affect the other.
Best Practices
Use the Projects filter to hide completed or inactive projects when reviewing an account's active workload.
Use the Jobs filter on long-running projects to quickly see which jobs are still outstanding.
Coordinate status names with your team in Settings > Commercial > Project Statuses so filters are meaningful across accounts.
Remember to clear the filter before sharing your screen or handing off an account, a hidden filter can make it look like projects or jobs are missing.
