How to set up recurring or one-time storage discounts

You can add one-time or recurring discounts to a customer's full bill or to their recurring storage charges only.

Adding a discount

Navigate to Settings -> Storage -> Storage Discounts, or click here to go directly to the page.

First, click Add Storage Discount.

Then, enter a name for the discount and select whether the discount is recurring or one-time.

  • Recurring: Allow you to specify a specific number of months the discount should be applied or perpetual if you want it applied for the life of the account.

  • One-time: Provides a discount on a single monthly invoice.

Next, select which charges the discount applies to.

  • Entire Bill: The discount applies to the entire bill regardless of added charges.

  • Monthly Recurring Storage Only: The discount applies to only the recurring storage charges on the bill. Items like warehouse handling fees will not be discounted as those are a one time charge on move in.

Then, select the type of the discount (e.g., amount or percentage) and enter the amount.

Next, for recurring discounts select how many occurrences the discount should be applied.

  • Run Perpetually: The discount is added every month for the account lifetime

  • Occurrence-based: The discount is added to the number of months selected

Then, click Create.
