Overview

Crew members can delete photos added through the Crew App when an image is captured in error or needs to be retaken. Some photos are restricted and cannot be deleted to protect important records β€” including photos taken during a Descriptive Inventory (DI) or a DI Check, which are now protected to preserve the condition records tied to key points in a move.

How to Delete a Photo

  1. Open the Crew App and navigate to the opportunity.

  2. Select the Media tab.

  3. Tap the photo you want to delete to open it.

  4. Tap the trash can icon.

  5. Tap Delete to confirm.

Photo Deletion Restrictions

Some photos cannot be deleted from the Crew App:

  • Web-uploaded photos β€” Photos uploaded from the web application do not have a delete option in the Crew App.

  • Locked photos β€” Photos displaying a lock icon are protected and cannot be deleted.

  • Descriptive Inventory photos β€” Photos taken during the initial Descriptive Inventory or a DI Check are protected from deletion and do not display a delete option. Photos captured outside a DI workflow can still be deleted as usual.

πŸ’‘ SmartTip: If a photo does not show a delete option, it is locked, web-uploaded, or associated with a Descriptive Inventory record.

Troubleshooting

No delete option is visible on a photo.

The photo is web-uploaded, locked, or tied to a Descriptive Inventory or DI Check. These photos cannot be removed from the Crew App.
