How to Finalize a Job from the Crew Application.

Once the job has been completed the crew is ready to calculate the final totals for the job and generate the invoice. To calculate the final charges, the job must be finalized. The crew can finalize a job, collect a payment, send the move review, and email a copy of the contract directly from the Crew Application.

Finalize a Job

Step 1: To complete the job and stop the labor clock select Complete Job.

Step 2: Confirm that you want to complete the job and that the ending time is the correct time to stop the labor clock at. Once ready to continue select Next.

Note: To adjust the labor clock select change. To return to the previous screen select Cancel.

Step 3: Add time deductions if necessary. Then, select Review Services.

Step 4: Review the additional services performed and edit the services if necessary. Once all services have been added, select Review Materials.

Step 5: Review the materials to ensure that all materials used have been included. Edit the materials, if necessary, then select Finalize Invoice.

Step 6: Review the invoice preview for accuracy. If all charges are correct, select Go to Contract.

Step 7: Collect all necessary signatures for the contract and other documents. Then select Finalize Job found at the bottom of the screen.

Step 8: Select Take a Payment or Complete Job and Carry Balance.

Note: If you select to Complete the Job and Carry the Balance, no payment will be collected, and that job will be marked as completed. The balance for this job will be added to the total balance due for the opportunity.

Step 9: If collecting payment, allow the customer to select the tip amount that they want to pay to the crew members, then select Add Tip.

Note: If you have selected to Complete the Job and Carry the Balance you will be brought directly to the screen that allows you to send the move review and the contract to the customer and to finalize the job.

Step 10: Select the payment method being used and click Add New Payment or if the payment method is credit card select Enter Card Details.

Note: You may adjust the amount received if the client is paying with multiple payment methods.

Step 11: Once the balance due is $0.00, select Finalize Job.

Step 12: Select to send the move review and the contract to the customer. Then, select Finalize Job.

Note: Once the job has been finalized you cannot make any further changes to the job from the Crew Application.

Now that the job has been completed, you can return to the dashboard to move on to your next job for the day.
